TOURIT 30 Cans Cooler Backpack
Key details
- Fits
- 30 cans
- Capacity
- 28 liters
- Dimensions
- 13 x 7.5 x 17 in
- Empty Weight
- 1.1 lb
A 28-liter cooler that weighs 1.1 pounds empty is the whole argument for this TOURIT. We packed it with cans, two ice packs, and a folded blanket, and it still carried like a daypack rather than a cooler, which is not something we can say about the bigger bags here. Seven pockets — two mesh side pockets, two front zips, a lid pocket, and a slot for utensils — keep the dry stuff out of the cold zone, and there is a bottle opener in the bag that we used more often than we expected.
TOURIT lists 30 cans, and bare, that is about right. Add ice and you are closer to 15 or 20, the same arithmetic every soft cooler in this group asks you to do. Feed it ice packs or frozen water bottles instead and the bag holds a full day of drinks with room left for sandwiches.
The lid zip is where it asks for care. Water can work its way through it when the bag lies on its side, so we keep this one upright on a car floor or hung from a chair back and skip loose ice altogether. The 600 Oxford shell handles sand and a spilled soda without complaint; the inside wants a hand wash and a full air-dry before it goes back in the closet.
The case for it is breadth. A work lunch, a beach afternoon, a two-hour hike, a hotel room standing in for a fridge — this one bag covers all four for midrange money, and that is why it is the pick we hand to most people. If your days run long and hot and you want ice at sunset, step up to the YETI; otherwise, start here.
Pros

If you want one cooler backpack for a beach day, a lunch shift, and a hike without feeling weighed down, this is the one we hand people first.
