An 8.9-inch interior is the reason this pouch takes the top spot. Take a big phone out of its case and most pouches here will swallow it; leave the case on and several start to balk at the opening. The Hiearcool takes an iPhone Pro Max or a Galaxy Ultra with a slim case still fitted and still slides it past the seal, which is the exact point where people give up and start leaving the case at home.
The closure is a double rail you press along both sides until it clicks, and you can feel when it has not seated. We soaked it with a folded paper towel sealed inside before any phone went near it, and the towel came out dry — a test we still run at the start of every trip, because a seal that has been in a beach bag since August is not the seal that left the factory.
Getting the phone back out is where it fights you. The fit is deliberately snug, and with wet hands it takes both hands and a moment to work a cased phone past the rail. That stiffness is the price of the seal doing its job, and it is the one thing we notice every single time we use it.
Two pouches and two lanyards come in the pack, with a one-year warranty behind the seal. The second pouch ends up as the spare nobody thinks about until someone's phone is sitting in a puddle.
Pros

Buy this one: the roomiest interior here for a phone still in its case, a firm double-rail seal, and two pouches in the pack.
